- Is my gift tax-deductible?
- PMAF is incorporated in New York and our 501(c)(3) application is pending. Upon final IRS determination, donations may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law; we’ll provide receipts and updates.
- Can I dedicate my gift?
- Yes—add a dedication in the donation form notes.
- How do I change or cancel a monthly gift?
- You’ll get a receipt with a manage-subscription link; you can update anytime.
- How will my donation be used?
- Your gift directly funds the Pauli Murray Awards, $1,000 honoree grants, the PMA Cohort mentorship program, and year-round cultural organizing for Black LGBTQ+ leaders.
- Is my payment information secure?
- Yes. Donations are processed through a secure, encrypted platform. PMAF does not store your credit card information.
- Can I give by check, wire, or employer match?
- Absolutely. Checks can be mailed to: Pauli Murray Awards Foundation, 1178 Broadway, 3rd Floor #502, New York, NY 10001. For wire transfers or employer matching, email giving@paulimurrayawards.com.
- Will I receive a receipt for my donation?
- Yes. An email receipt is sent immediately. Monthly donors also receive an annual statement for records.
